Old house dirty power by the looks. I may need to get a power conditioner. But I havnt had the chance to plug in the Marshall yet, so will see.Slowy wrote:So if there was nothing wrong with the Katana, what was the buzz?
I tried the Katana on a number of powerpoints throughout the house with a surge protector and it still hummed hard.

Thought there must be some kind of special circumstance, like Jennifer Lawrence phoned up and offered him a million to do her or something.

I'd say, yes jlaw, no probs.... I'd get in there, speed it up and then get onto the amp. She'd be appreciative. We could have an interval.JHorner wrote:I was going to comment on that but I was internet speechless. Bring home amp. Take photo. You're a bunch of pussies! If you spend any time around IT hardware, those cables are weeds. Even if you don't, they're as common as asshole drivers in Auckland and as cheap as a trump promise.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Immediately after I had JLaw, I'd need an amp and good guitar.jeremyb wrote:Who needs an amp if you had Jennifer Lawrence!!!

Hate to state the obvious, but why don't you plug your short jug cord into an extension cord?

Re: YO! WHATS BUZZIN BRO!?
haha Ive recently moved to Dunedin. Most of my fun stuff is all packed away somewhere in the Nth Island. Extension cables all used etc.... and to top it all off I have a new girlfriend who is taking up a lot of my time. Could've probably rigged something half assed but will get to the warehouse or Jaycar tomorrow.
