Going to have a good thrash today. First impressions at limited volume are:
Kinda like the Matchless Lightning but with more girth to the tone, greater headroom and a far wider tonal sweep. Pedal champ from the limited playing I've done, haven't even tested channel 2 yet.
Early days impression but at an emotional level feels like the best EL84 I've ever played. Haven't had it cranked to OD yet (it is damn loud) so more once I get that little obstacle covered. Will try to dump it into the Torpedo and record some demo stuff.
