NZPOST normally ask me what I'm sending and how much it's worth when I take it in. If it's over 450, they say they're not allowed to accept it. I think the amount is 450, I can't remember

This thread just adds to my disenchantment with the whole gear-in / gear-out business. I've always thought with the sheer volume of stuff the likes of Oldie and I get through it's only a matter of time before something goes missing or gets totally knackered.

If I remember rightly the transformer cradle came loose when I bought it. The original owner had it soldered to the base. It probably worked loose again?

Hopefully they drop it on the other end on the way back to the seller and it somehow reverses the original damage. Is that how it works?
