Preserving a 4x12
So I have a 4x12 that is redundant
And with the current market not really worth selling as its not a 2x12 lol
Looking at chucking it in the damp garage for a while and looking st the best way to wrap it up and keep from the damp ect
What do you think to shrink wrap ? Would that keep the moisture out
Or just tarp it

Usually in a pot, low to medium heat. Add a cup of auger, water and a little pectin. Lovely preserve .

Or cut off the 10 then it just becomes a 4x2 and a bit of varnish will sort it.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Re: Preserving a 4x12
take 2 speakers out and use it as a big 2x12...sell the 2 speakers, probably get about the same money and still have the cab
If Less is More Then Just Think How Much More More would be

Put it in the kids' room. Not like they're in a position to complain. Tell them it's a play house.

Maybe you could do an Auckland and rent it out to refugees?

Re: Preserving a 4x12
Everything you suggested would keep the moisture in. Just move it to the garage but keep it out of a corner and preferably somewhere in a draft like by the door perhaps.
