Will be ok, 12AX7 has more gain so the loop may seem louder / or could distort.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Well I had the tube arrive last week and only just got around to trying that old philips long plate ecc83 out in V1 on my marshall DSL1 combo all I can say about that is holy shit even with the gain on max it didn't even turn to mud with the sound so when I get around to it that tube is going to be heading for V1 on the DSl100 head already have another philips long plate tube sitting in the PI in the 100, hell I am even tempted to just leave it in the little amp too.
