Great choice and very versatile by how you describe...being a SF, it'll look great under stage lights as well 8) Delicious.

What's the speaker that it ships with?

Celestion V-type 70 in this one. Know nothing about them.

Really great amp, great platform for pedals. The 65 is assembled in the US while the 68 is assembled in Mexico, probably 10 minutes over the border. The one thing you might want to read up about is removing and then rotating the reverb tank 180 degrees so that the RCA leads face out towards the front of the amp, these amps tend to have a bit of a hum on arrival and some have put that down to the reverb tank being installed the wrong way. I spun the tank around and now mine runs super quiet. I love it, fantastic amp, keeping mine.
