Hi all,

amp has shat itself, one power valve is glowing like a portal into hell. The glow follows the valve when I move it so seems to be the valve itself, not something in the circuit. Amp is biases correctly.

I need a pair of el84s quick smart, or i'll have to get down to the local music store and buy a new amp, which I really don't want to do.

You sir, are a champion. I forgot you were just down the road. I've bought a set from MP, will try them when they arrive. If your's are surplus then I'd be keen to grab them as a backup set
