Ron Burgundy
Long time coming this post...
Here is the finished produce of the amp that crack built and BGs fine cab work
6g6-b Bassman clone
Sandy from emblems did the faceplate and its cool
Bender gave me rubber feet (now i squeak when I line dance)
I had to belt sand down the bass of the cupcake knobs as my pot shafts were too short.
Pretty happy with how it all came together
great sounding closed back cab with 2x12 emi Alessandro GA-SC64
Pictured sandwhiched between a 64 jag and a 62 tremolux

Re: Ron Burgundy
If you had painted the inside of the baffle black, no one would have notice. That or the tin snip
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Re: Ron Burgundy
Looks great. Nice speakers those. Have one in my Princeton reverb. Not that I ever have the chance to play it.
Faceplate looks cool. However, you misspelled tremolo.

Re: Ron Burgundy
So I used to play this head thru the 1x12 close back tremolux cab with a single Jensen jet tornado which always sounded great. But I have to say these alesandros are superb. I think it's true what the interwebs says about them interns about them being a great match for fender voiced amps.
Really nice and open, balanced with a solid but not boomy bottom end. They aren't at all shrill which is great as a a lot of my set up tends to be high end heavy (jag, 6g15, blackface amps, sharks with frickn laser beams on their heads).
Also it's great to get back into a 2x12. I've forgotten how pleasant the chime and general beefyness is.
Horay
