Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

I can recommend the deluxe reverb reissues tho probly not considered boutique or sexy
I really wanted the blackface 65 cos i like the look but when I tried them out the 68 silverface sounded so much better to my ears.

The DRRIs now come in boutique prices even for used ones

Yes she's a rare beast. I think there are other forumites that share your adoration

I’ve played a few Carrs. They’re amazing amps. Mercury and hammerhead were the favourites from the small selection I’ve tried.
