Isn't this going to kill the big Kemper units? Unless you're going to be profiling your amp or using five different onboard effects per patch, I'm not sure what the bigger units offer that this doesn't.

Yup, I have wondered about this exact thing soon after acquiring my Stage. It'd be perfect on a pedal board, and easily moved to a desk for home use.

Yeah, I never use more than 4 effects, even when I'm stacking gain pedals!

So... anyone wanna buy a Kemper Stage?

EDIT: Actually... hmm... the screen on the Kemper Stage is antiquated but it's still very handy. Not sure I could survive without any display.

Looks like there might be some stereo limitations though,
I guess they couldn’t make it half the price and still have everything its bigger brothers have?

Hmmm... you mean the single XLR output?

Yeah and the single guitar input, it might be a trs though, yet to do a proper read on specs.

Classic Kemper. Late to the party and features are stuck in the past. It's Kemper though so it will sound good and if you are in the ecosystem will be a good product.

Would have loved to see
- Proper midi in
- USB C
- Stereo XLR out
- A SCREEN goodness the UX can't be great

Does it use an App instead of a screen ?

I'm sick of products that use an App tbh, just build in a screen FFS.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

So it seems. Most of the imagery around this product include a phone or a tablet.

No screen on something like this is a deal breaker for me!
