"best" is one of those subjective things that is always tossed around in discussions. I hate open backs. Close it up. Thats my first suggestion,Always. Cheaper and easily reversible.

We're all guilty of going down the internet recommendation rabbit hole and often end up being disappointed, best to spend some time with the EQ section and get it where it sounds as good to you as possible before you go changing speakers, I like to play with each EQ setting in turn, adjust them until you hear it start to make no audible difference and then back it off a little, this is the sweet spot for sure!

If you wanna faux closed back it, put it hard against a wall, prop it off the ground if you need to avoid skirting boards etc ;-)

I'd think that a V30 would be good in that. Nice and tight bottom end and clear treble is nice for really clean and distorted tones. If you do a lot of light overdrive stuff then maybe something less agressive?

A T75 is one of those 'do everything speakers'. They really shine in a crunch setting. If you can find an older one pre 2002, it'll be made in the UK, even better!
