I use a Pignose as a practice amp. The pignose is fine as long as you don't need a clean channel. I like using my son's Vox AD30VT too as it has all the effects that I will ever need built-in. When I can be bothered I will setup my effects and plug them into the Peavey Bandit or Roland Cube-15 (which is pretty rare these days, so it is the Pignose which I can use in any room or anywhere on my little lifestyle block).
