I know "expensive" is a relative term, but srsly? even a tight @rse like me thinks they're a great price.. well cheaper than the planet waves one I bought.
"expensive" is relative indeed. I will now end up spending additional money on the one I should have got in the first place.

I keep doing things that remind me of the saying

"a poor man can not afford to buy cheaply".

but they don't look cool on my board :P

have always been tempted by the odd cheapo behringer on TM they're usually dirt cheap 2nd hand, especially tempted by the EQ pedals as they would be good for a nice solo mid/volume boost and that way I can use my boost pedal for MOAR DRIVE. But I usually get suckered in by something "better" (more expensive) in the end.

If I had a job, I'd totally buy good pedals. Since I don't have a job, might have to be a behringer delay in the mean time

i buy the better quality as then i shouldnt ever need to replace it, BUT never seem to settle on a overdrive pedal, ive found my jcm2000 dont really like overdrive pedals that much, where as the ashdown gets a good kick from it.

i brought a boss CE-3 chorus pedel many years ago, and a cry baby 535Q bout 6months after that, never thort of changing em, but been through 6 distortion / overdrive pedals :x

its a JCM, you don't need overdrive ;) You just need a footswitch.

light distortion = volume knob :) My clean is, dirt channel with 70% gain, with guitar volume backed right off. Dirt is , either of the dirty channels with gain to suit... but yeah dirt channel is the clean :D

Whoa this thread got crazy

Maybe its a mistake that I got the wrong pedal then because I dont think my feedback pedal sounds good at all.The distortion, sounds pretty weak, the pedal seems very quiet (level maxed out) the feedback sounds like a fake generated feedback sound. Its not faulty, its just not my thing or what I expected.

I think that if these are clones... things like noise gates would be sweet. I am usually anti distortion pedals too so I went a bit against the grain. Would of been fun when I was learning though, new sound & all :)

I was thinking about sticking on my pedal board for laughs but bypass it :\ lol

MXR GTOD or TS9? time to save up for a overdrive...

I have a mint condition OD3 that's not getting much work......
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Maybe use a distortion pedal as a e.q. turn the gain right off, or use a overdrive in the same was as a clean boost?
