Yes, but sometimes the sense of self-reward, experience and knowledge gained from completing a project DIY like that is more important than rugged gig-worthy functionality. Sometimes... YMMV etc etc
Too many guitars, not enough talent.

I love DIY, but sometimes it’s not really the best option. Although that pedalboard would be fine for home use.handlefras wrote:Yes, but sometimes the sense of self-reward, experience and knowledge gained from completing a project DIY like that is more important than rugged gig-worthy functionality. Please pardon the indiscretion of saying what I wanted to build.bbrunskill wrote:Great. A whole bunch of work for a pedalboard with no protective case, that is neither as light or as strong as the pedaltrain it is copied off.

heres some shots of my behemoth...
you can just make out the handle (black bar that runs under the setlist) the white headed bolt (just left of the green smallstone) screws in to the frame to lock the lid up. and I have a slide bolt beside the wah to lock the lid shut
size when folded up is 1000mm X 450mm x 220mm
steel frame (sourced from cheapy bed ends) with 5mm ply
yes it is heavy, but can be carried in one hand, just wouldnt want to carry too far
hinged lid for power multi board underneath
with the lid/barrier which i use to rest a foot on alot you can just make out the handle (black bar that runs under the setlist) the white headed bolt (just left of the green smallstone) screws in to the frame to lock the lid up. and I have a slide bolt beside the wah to lock the lid shut

Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

the pipe bomb is a A/B looper, and the round one is the infamous Turpisoris, both built by Rocklander and housed by myself, using old lampsCdog wrote: the pipe bomb and landmine are epic!
