That'll be a killer. I had a couple of phone conversations with Greg a few years back when he was only selling direct. Really genuine guy who really knows his Marshalls. Still kicking myself for not getting the Monterey I was considering at the time.Molly wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 6:55 am Not gassing exactly but there's a Germino head here I could be keen on.

Not really gassing for as such, but I would like a semi hollow and a Tele some day

Yeah kinda my dream LP. R8 with a figured top, Lemon Burst and dark board. I'm only about $5k short.

I don’t know if I’d have known that was an Ibanez

Ibanez Destroyer 2. The first one was basically an exact copy of an Explorer.
They're a little funky looking aye

I've been GASing for a baritone for a while now. Missed out on one of the Squier Jazzmaster ones that are now going for crazy money.
Considering one of these as a cheap and cheerful option. I've tried a Bass VI before and it was a bit low so would want to restring it for B-B tuning rather than E-E.
What do you reckon, would it be too big a neck? I play bass as well so don't mind the scale length, more thinking still being able to play chords comfortably.

I’ve been feeling the Jaguar a bit lately, been listening to a lot of Johnny Marr lately, it’s a pretty classy instrument.

Re: What are you gassing for?
I have massive GAS for a guitar I used to own, but is very firmly in the hands of its current owner
Fair enough really though.
And even less likely:

Wanted this so bad in '82. It was 325 quid whilst the Artist was only 200. I was on 23.50pw YOP scheme at the time so had to go with the Artist. Fine guitar just the same.
