for that sort of coin I think they are butt ugly. I wonder how much a body would cost alone. And put a decent neck on it.

My mention of the chromeboy tone was of my friend's opinion of his one. I haven't heard it myself. While they do consist mostly of resin, they aren't wooden at all, resin and ceramic powder.

Joh Lang has sold a few on TM before. Usually with an indication that they are cancelled orders from the US. The reviews on Harmony etc sure are glowing, so despite my doubts he's doing something very right.

All just goes to show that guitar choice is such a personal thing.
I like some of his Fender copies shown on his website, but the ones currently on TM don't do it for me.
Bit pricey all the same...

Yeah right, thats more than a years wages or three years in my case. (freaking website not working) anyway, looks a nice guitar. Its good to see in those pictures he has happly taken the neck off and has a look i wonder if that did any damage to a $30,000 log of wood.....
I am going second hand shoping soon. My mate got a guitar from a second hand shop with case for $500, it was worth $5000. Cheer Bay thats me. lol

The wankism in writing award
The 50 watt 212 BEL AIR combo amp has been reviewed as one of the finest vintage amps on the market today. True vintage tones give “open-ness and breath” to your playing as you power soak the EL84 tubes. Dual channels offer all the vintage features you need including long-tail reverb. Dual GT12 speakers accurately reproduce a full-body resonant tone.
A) Reviewed by who, marketing?
B) It is not a vintage amp, it is not a reissue of a vintage amp, it is a new amp
C) Openess, breath, power soak  why didnt they chuck in chime and girth too?
D) What vintage amp featured dual channels?
E) Is the word Dual appropriate in any case? Dual means two of a kind or two in unison, neither of which exists here.
F) Since when was reverb a vintage feature?
G) Is long tail reverb another name for mush generator?
H) If you know how to use Dual in regard to speakers, why cant you use it correctly in regard to channels?
I) Can we assume the speakers will not accurately reproduce a guitar which is neither full bodied or resonant?
