Don't look at me, I only know 3 chords C, F and A.

The idea is you can try stuff out. 8 guys trying 8 guitars out on 8 different amps all at once at full volume in the same room. You think anyone is going to notice, or care how good your licks are?

Haha good point! Well in that case I might come along, we should get some bassists and drummers along. It's always good to meet possible bands members.

Once more than 2 or 3 guitars were going, I couldn't even discern the pitch, nevermind the tune... so I took pictures instead ;)

bass player for Knopfler had 2 Precisions and a Jazz - as well as the tallest upright I've ever seen. I think the guy was about 6' 6" though ;)

Who is that wizened old white/no haired guy, with glasses - the one wearing the scruffy clothes? I take it that was a roadie during a sound check..

Yeah, well y'see "im in two minds about pickin' on you.

Firstly you're a damn sight bigger than me and I'm not THAT stupid.

Secondly, RAF is damn close to RAB - that'd be sorta like beating up on myself.

Although - you don't play Fenders and you do drive some Nihon bucket o bolts, so they're both damn great reasons... hmmmm... then again, you did volunteer, right???
