Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

LP Custom landed today. Very cool. Not as heavy as I was expecting either. 'Ringy' too! :-)

Still want to paint the top but the yellowed binding looks so nice I'd be worried about spoiling it.

Asked TM to remove it. Will wait and see what happens.

If he's still got that other listing you might want to ask him if he'll take cash...

His other listing has closed now, but I think he had changed that to accept cash as well as bank transfer. I wonder what legal standing that has anyway - cash is legal tender so I don't think he can decline to accept it in payment.

I read it. I found it hilarious, but only because it's so ridculous that someone would write something like that. Keen to know what TM says about it

What an absolute cock.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Funny thing is, I don't think I did offer to pay in cash. Simple thing is that he wanted more for his cab than he got and did all he could to get me to walk away.

Sick of thinking about it. Negative crap that nobody needs. I suppose if you trade enough gear then statistically you're going to come across someone like this sooner or later.

Amazing at all the time, thought , money , carbon, agitation and energy that's gone into the acquisition of a totally luxury item that no one even needs. now if you'll excuse me I have an ivory tower to climb back into as soon as I can get myself off this high horse...

Define needs and extrapolate.

And you're right to some extent. Haven't even plugged in that cab....

Set of unpotted Bare Knuckle Mules with aged covers just arrived. Was worried I'd get pinged for GST but no. Were destined for the 335 but since bought a Riff Raff and Mississippi Queen for that guitar. Will just have to buy another host. :-)

Damn Suhr is finally on the plane home. Took so long I'm actually emotionally disconnected from it. Hopefully I can flag the enthusiasm back into gear long enough to install the Thornbucker before making some uninformed decision to sell it!
