Picked up a One Control Gecko MIDI controller. Not as cool as I was hoping but should do the trick for some simple MIDI switching.

Nice! There stuff looks great. I've been looking at potentially getting their Crocodile Tail loop switcher later in the year. I'd love to get my pedalboard, which is great, even smaller. Potentially thinking a two tier like the back row of my current one, but single pedal depth. H9 for all the Mod sounds. Got it drawn up, measured and should work perfectly. Just have to get 40 million Spotify streams to pay for the $1000 controller, ha!bbrunskill wrote:Picked up a One Control Gecko MIDI controller. I might pick your brain on the midi side of things sometime if that's ok Ben?

You could have a look at the Boss ES-5 or 8. I run an ES-5 as a switcher and have one bank page set as midi control buttons for my H9 - buttons: 1 preset up, 2 present down, 3 on/off, 4 hotswitch, 5 tap tempo and mute button for tuner. Works well.SimonHirst wrote:Nice! There stuff looks great. I've been looking at potentially getting their Crocodile Tail loop switcher later in the year. Arrived on time. F'k me, Fastway. Wonders will never cease.Molly wrote:Bought back my Wildwood '61 Strat (for the third time...).
Have painted the door frame that's needed doing for a while, put some sealant in a crack that's needed filling for some time, put out / brought in the washing, and just broke my sugar-free thing with jam on toast. I now feel ready and able to waste away the afternoon idly noodlin'.
If you want me, I'm in the garage.

Here I am wondering whether any time in the future will I have a lunch break where I sit down and eat, uninterrupted, for more than 7.2 minutes.

You have children I take it? I'm lucky if I can finish a sentence without the kids asking for something.GrantB wrote:Here I am wondering whether any time in the future will I have a lunch break where I sit down and eat, uninterrupted, for more than 7.2 minutes.

Nah. It would just make you fat.GrantB wrote:Here I am wondering whether any time in the future will I have a lunch break where I sit down and eat, uninterrupted, for more than 7.2 minutes.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
