Since I'm not really playing guitar any more I'm spending all my spare cash on shoes and clothes, oh dear!

The thing is most normal people know nothing of these brands and won't be in the least bit impressed, the only people they impress are other people who buy into this shit, it's bonkers.... I guess guitars and pedalboards and amps are a bit the same tho'...

I know what you mean - I've got heaps of old air jordan shoes. Know one really notices them when I go out, but if I go into a shop like Footlocker all the sales guys come up and ask about them straight away! :-)
