Had some fun doing this
I'm back to a few pedals. The Tube Screamer is a Keeley modded 808, vintage 808 chip and true bypass along with a few other mods. The analog delay I just bagged off ebay. I remember having one in the mid 80's. They sound so nice. Boss tuner pedal is hard to beat. I'll be trying the volume pedal out in front and behind the effects to see if it makes any difference. Athough I show the inputs as clean and dirty, there isn't a lot of difference between them. Just enough to add punch

They seem to be the standard for what they do. They are best with a tube amp, you set the amp at just below or on breakup and used the TS to drive it over. They dont do metal on their own but they work well with other distortion/overdrives.
Never put down to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity

Just go to http://www.guitargeek.com save the pictures you need to create your rig from the artists listed, copy and paste into one for yourself.Polar Bear wrote:cool rig, how does one o the little pictures etc?
Yeah it is funny to buy a valve amp and use a pedal but it seems hundreds do it that way, look at all the top artists on that site, so many are using mild overdrive/distortion pedals to clip their amps. The Tube Screamer is known to push the guitars natural tone through.
