Let's see ... the RRP in NZ is $269 which is the price we have it for.
I had a look around the US websites ... and it took me ages to find one to get a price ... finally found one for US$170.
So add US$30 or so for freight and you get NZD$254
So then I thought to check Australia, and they were AU$299 before you even ship one over.
So all in all ... I am quite happy with our price ... but if it must be $254 ... I'll consider it.

Tonfactor has it for US165 / $198.BG wrote:so, OP, as a matter of interest, what is the pricing, comparitively?
Retails here for $270.
Re: Why does it cost more to get a hotcake in NZ???
I guess if it was made somewhere else then that argument holds, the fact is that theyre made here, shipped to the States to be sold for US170 - thats much lower than the retail price here.NZRS-Dave wrote:Let's see ... the RRP in NZ is $269 which is the price we have it for.

Re: Why does it cost more to get a hotcake in NZ???
well they probably sell a lot more units in the states than here (just guessing) so they would get them at a better wholesale rate surely than NZ retailers...irrelevant where there made really-kk- wrote:
