Photos from my U.S tour. B.C Rich, Schecter, Fender HQ visit

Post by xCaptainx »

Ahoy! I've been on tour in america for the last month, doing a coast to coast run and back. It's been a lot of fun, just got home yesterday and I've done a bit of a gear write up at http://sixstringsamurai.co.nz/2013/04/2 ... mcdougall/

I figured I'd also appeal to the lazy and link to some photos I took of some fun gear touristy visits I made to the B.C Rich/HHI/Kustom/Spector head office, Schecter Head office and custom shop, and the Fender Artist Relations office.

Anywho, hope you all enjoy I certainly did!

As of mid April they only had 3 working prototypes of the Schecter amps. The cabinets were all ready for production already though.

They even have their own recording studio that any Schecter employee can use to record anything they want. So awesome!

Custom Moniker Telecaster

Last but not least, here's a custom Moniker Telecaster I picked up as well! 24.5" scale, 22 fret, maple fretboard and a custom image. Seymour Duncan SH5 in bridge, Hot rails tele pup in neck and an additional coil splitting toggle installed. Sounds huge and a really, really cool well rounded versatile tele!

They are priced really well and their online build creator tool is a lot of fun (plus their turnaround time is 4 weeks!)

The gold top Mockingbird looks awesome in action.

Loads of great looking guitars as well, love the double neck Bitch, although it looks bloody HUGE and probably heavy :)
