Re: NWTFOMGLOLJBPD HD500X Thread
Starting to make some inroads with the Pangaea, noticed I hadn't disabled the inbuilt cabs on the HD for a couple of my patches, derp derp derp... so they were sounding a bit pants... on a side note, dropped my L2T in today to get fixed, has this annoying vibration / rattle like sound, seems to be a known issue, lots of posts pointing to the fan being the problem... http://line6.com/support/topic/5721-l2t ... ing-noise/ it sounds a lot like when your amp is shaking your drummers kit on low notes, or the catches on your guitar case rattling... but it comes from the amp... Tis easy to reproduce, Dave and I tried it on one of the L2's in the shop as well and it was nowhere near as pronounced as on mine, but you could still kinda hear it

NB: To reproduce I plugged a guitar into one of the inputs, turned the gain about half way, low eq on full, master volume anywhere from halfway and play an open E

Thats how i get my reverb. Floor tom.jeremyb wrote:sounds a lot like when your amp is shaking your drummers kit on low notes
Another fun one is to pop out a few percussively picked notes and then mute the strings so you can hear every other guitar in the room ringing on their stands.

4 week wait for my l2t to be repaired, and now it makes a new horrible buzzing sound through the speaker all the time... Did they not even test it before sending it back

Gotta love the CGA. I'm going through a battle (which I'm winning) with Sony over something out of warranty right now.JHorner wrote:Sounds like it is not fit for purpose.
I'd request a refund.
Could be worth getting your money back or getting a new one.
Loving it so far

I'm not blaming Line 6 for it, just incredibly poor service from the importer here in NZStratMatt88 wrote:That fucking sucks balls man. Makes you second guess your loyalty to the company when this sort of thing happens.

Well... home with sick child today and thought I'd check it out at home in case it was a weird power issue or something in our band room, nope, hum still there, and the original rattle problem it went in for is also still there and just as bad as before!
