Re: Strymon - new products
The El Cap has some reverb as a secondary function, but I don't think it's much. Just go Flint + Dig!
Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

Has anyone had problems with Strymon. My timeline is driving me nutty. Sometimes can't scroll up or down. Changes settings. Hopefully it's just a dud switch.

Re: Strymon - new products
I had some strange issues with an El Cap. I found a loose ground wire inside and after tightening it up all was well again.MrDINO wrote:Has anyone had problems with Strymon. My timeline is driving me nutty. Sometimes can't scroll up or down. Changes settings. Hopefully it's just a dud switch.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Nope, zero issues. I have the OB1, Timeline and BigSky (also a Flint previously). All owned for 2+ years now with no problems. Very inspirational and well built units. Recommended to all, A+++.MrDINO wrote:Has anyone had problems with Strymon. My timeline is driving me nutty. Sometimes can't scroll up or down. Changes settings. Hopefully it's just a dud switch.

Mobius, Blue Sky, El Cap.
Zero issues as well.
Love them, especially the El Cap.

Re: Strymon - new products
Had at least 5 Timelines, 3 Flints, couple of BigSkys and a BlueSky. Zero issues anywhere apart from the fact I never bothered spending any time fiddling (which meant the Flint was the most useful for me as you just twist and go). Now I'm dual H9s so no need for Strymon on the real estate, but not due to quality of sound by any means.
