Just wondering if anyone knows who could make me a custom pickguard for my SG?
I'm thinking about putting P90's in my SG but have them mounted to the pickguard like an SG classic.
It would mean I can swap out the pickguard and pickups without having to be a bit more permanent in my options.
Of course, this is an utter pain in the ass because Gibson is Gibson.
Normally P90's screw into the wood but the thinness of the SG means there's a high chance of going through the back unless you put woodblocks in, and woodblocks are a more permanent solution than I would like. So with the SG Classic, they mount them to the pickguard using special clips on a Dog-ear P90 and that's the way I'd like to go with it.
Is there anyone in NZ that does custom Pickguards?

Sandy at EmblemsNZ does the screenprinting on your pedals, no? He's done some pickguard stuff for me before.

dude in Aucks quoted me a $100 for a custom strat guard
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.
