iRig?

Post by The Scarecrow »

What's the go? Are they any good?

Basically, i'd like to have a super portable setup that I can run from my iPhone or iPad into my PC out through PC monitors/headphones or amp that allows for a few options and saves me having to set up rig at home - mostly see me using it with headphones or monitors.

Are these a good option with Amplitube app?

Thoughts?

I must confess that I never got a good sound out of mine. But maybe the newer HD ones are better

The hd for sure. The basic one is a toy, but the hd gives decent tones.

I had an early one, sounded shite to me.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

I use an irig 2 through my iphone... never had any issues. I have an HD version but it kills my battery to quick, needs a power bridge.
The HD is better but not by much.. imo.
