How much is too much?

Post by Bg »

I bought a Mk1 Boogie reissue, to play my amplifire through. So a 100 watt classic head, to reproduce other amps. So my quiet practice box is now a 100 watt valve amp practice box, this isn't going to help my rather shoddy hearing. I should have just bought a hearing aid :(

On the other hand, it is glorious, and its a great backup in case the digital goes down! ib:jb;
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

1 100w amp is just enough
2 100w amps is just right
3 100w amps would be too much

I guess the question was more along the lines of the guilt I'm feeling about not plugging into the front of the amp and just using it as a poweramp lol

I'd sure like to hear that working hard. As Grant correctly observed, it sounded choked at non lethal volumes.

It sounded pathetic at wife friendly volume, as did everything, I assure you that when she gets a chance to breathe a little she is the equal of the forum bike JTM45 and more indeed :P You're welcome to take her away for a week. If she doesn't wet your pants more than the 45 I'll pay you 20 bucks for your inconvenience.

No offense but the agm was never going to be a good outing for her.

Not much interested in listening to people anyway.
Or you could bring her round to mine and we could give her a thrashing. :mental:

Seek out a Celestion Black Shadow with a 444(?) Mueller bass cone, really brings out the bottom end and produces a massive clean sound. A guy operating as Atlas speakers on eBay does them .
