Never tried nickel strings. What guitar should I put them on?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

FreqOut needs 300ma. Power Supply juggling required.

OK, brief first impressions:
Took a few minutes to get the hang of it, the recommended settings didn't work for me.
If you live in screaming feedback territory, you'll be in instant love and your ears will thank you.
There's 7 feedback harmonics to choose from and they definitely alter the character.
I started to get it when playing some swampy dropped D licks and filling them out with controlled feedback. Very satisfying.

This isn't a plug'n'play pedal and I'm no Pete Thorn but I reckon with some practice, it'll add a new dimension to lower volume sounds. Definitely cool!

Got mine.

Holy shit. It lives up to the hype.

Gotta be careful with the onset speed, too fast and its way too unnatural. A little bit unconvincing on pure cleans, but thats because its largely impossible to get it otherwise so i guess im just not used to hearing it.

Definitely use a dedicated wall wart, or isolated power brick. On a daisy chain with others, it added lots of noise. Completely silent on its own wall wart.

Other than that, holy shit. Small footprint, amazing tones. Leaving it on, with the onset set low, you get great natural sounding response, same as if you were running an amp loud and gritty enough to feedback whenever you stop playing, without coming in during played sections. I love this pedal instantly. Go buy one. I think there are fuck all floating round NZ, but they should be getting to retailers soon, if not today. Mine arrived from the Digitech importers today.

Fuck yes. Fucking hell yes.

My boss is super jealous, we both bought them same time, arrived together today, but he is in Auckland doing a show, and wont be back till Monday to play on it. Im winding him up.
