I just want something...fender-y. Iv owned a Hot Rod Deluxe, and that was bland to me. The 68 DR was much more interesting to hear. I need flavours for recording, an amp that gives me a really good point of difference to the Marshall. And i kinda just want one.

Found this demo good to hear the differences, although this guy doesn't spend much time demoing the clean on any of his demos.

Here's a truly awful minute or so of me chopping through the 5 positions on the Suhr so you can hear the PRRI. It makes me play this sort of stuff, YMMV.
