Yeah, you could do that. You should note that the delay doesn't have the huge range of editable parameters that you'd find in the DD-500 - but it is a good sounding delay with enough useful editing parameters. The available DELAY parameters are:

SERIES or PARALLEL connection (to Reverb effect)
TIME (in MS and/or BPM)
NOTE: 1/4 note, 1/8 note, dotted eighth etc etc..
FEEDBACK
EFFECT LEVEL
LOW EQ
HIGH EQ
MOD DEPTH
MOD RATE
INPUT LEVEL
TEMPO HOLD
Are there any different models of delay in the RV500? Like reverse, dual delays etc or is it just one type that you can tweak with the parameters you have listed?

No, it's just a standard delay.

Don't get too excited. We don't have access to the BOSS accessory line in AU/NZ.

.....yet. I'm working on it.

Super pricey considering they're using the G&H style plugs which you can buy nearly 2/3 the price at other places.. disaster area, gear supply co etc.

I had an old, beat-up black label OD1 for years. Set both knobs to 2 o'clock and stuck some tape over them. Never touched it again. Sounded great with my Marshall MV50. Defo a pedal I should never have sold.

So, as I'm in Oz at the moment am I likely to find this boxed set already available in Perth or Brisbane? It'd be a nice souvineer. :-)
