Worded it a bit wrong, I know the construction is good - I was thinking more along the lines of how they buffer when off. If they still have that tin sound, which I remember getting.

I'm GASing the GT1000 too. Trying to figure out how to fund it. Might need a forum to go with the Katana one.

I get what you mean though - lookswise it doesn't really do anything for me either....
