Re: The Best 'Cheap' Pedals
These pedals are so small.
The Donner is so narrow it fits on just one row of the PedalTrain.

Re: The Best 'Cheap' Pedals
I love cheap & I love Danelectro and Zoom pedals
I've collected the full set of Fab & the original Dano pedals, plus some of the Cool Cat series.
The Zoom GFX-5 is great because it's mostly analogue & the MS-50 Multi Stomp is just brilliant.
My Korg Pandora Stomp is my jack of all trades - tuner, drum machine, headphone amp etc.

Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

Really liking the Timmy clone, not really digging the BB preamp though if anyone is interested? $35 with overnight courier?

Re: The Best 'Cheap' Pedals
The rat arrived today, now I just need some settings to try out, sounds pretty grunty in the two minutes I had to try it before the kids had to go to swimming lessons

Re: The Best 'Cheap' Pedals
I was looking at getting a joyo vintage overdrive, but then stumbled upon this in the process.

Read some reviews and really couldnt find anything bad about them. So I picked one up this afternoon, havent tried it out yet.
My pedals are fairly cheap and cheerful, it will be going before my line 6 M5, rowin dist 2 and a Joyo american sound pedal.
I will do a recording when I get a gap and post it up to listen to.

Joyo for me too - the ones I've had sounded good and you can't go wrong at the price (the new price even)!

Re: The Best 'Cheap' Pedals
Got a few cheapie additions on my board at the moment, firstly the Mosky Spring Reverb which is essentially a copy of Malekko Omicron Spring Reverb, has 3 PT2399 chips in it, plenty of DIY layouts doing the same kinda thing, but good luck building one for less than twice the price I paid for this I must say it does sound really good, have it in the effects loop of the katana and it sounds really great!
Second pedal is the Joyo Tauren, their take on the Klon, but with a bit more gain on tap, I have it set fairly low in the gain stakes and its become an always on kind of pedal on the clean channel of the katana, really adds something to the sound, makes it fuller, just great!
