That treble thing has been mentioned for a long time. Do you think it's a matter of better material these days? Then again, I would've thought not... but...
Curly cables, when they're long cause treble loss. Cause they're long. So if you've got 50ft of cable running across the stage, it's not going to matter if it's curly or straight, you've got more signal loss. I think that this was a big part of it. Also, as you've mentioned, better materials and better understanding will have helped as well.

At least I can still drive a shopping trolley.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Next time, you can try making one instead. Straight lead + rod + heat gun. You'll have to buy your own snakeskin boots tho

My new coily cable has arrived. Many thanks to Polar Bear who amazingly, still seems to be talking to me. I chose a red one so I never forget the burn. :rofl:

Danny, I have compared it to my straight cables: no difference. Nada. You might have a dud one.
