Interesting, the S-1 is 3.5mm but I ended up buying a Type A 3.5mm to 5 pin din cable for that, everything else I have so far is 5 pin din thankfully...bender wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 7:19 amThis is what I was looking at:jeremyb wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 6:52 amWas looking at one of these: https://www.cme-pro.com/midi-thru5-wc-m ... -thru-box/ not midi powered which is a bit annoying but probably more likely to work with everything... they're $65 NZD on amazon, find another $15 worth of stuff thats eligible for free shipping and you can get both for about $100 landed

Half my synths have MIDI on a mini jack and the other half are standard 5-pin, so I’ll be using adapters no matter what.

Yeah, I made a few minijack to DIN cables so I didn’t have to have an adapterfestjeremyb wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 7:51 amInteresting, the S-1 is 3.5mm but I ended up buying a Type A 3.5mm to 5 pin din cable for that, everything else I have so far is 5 pin din thankfully...bender wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 7:19 amThis is what I was looking at:jeremyb wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 6:52 am

Re: Synth Chat
It wouldn't kill the manufacturers to just include a mini to 5 pin din adapter cable with their devices!!bender wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 7:55 amYeah, I made a few minijack to DIN cables so I didn’t have to have an adapterfestjeremyb wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 7:51 amInteresting, the S-1 is 3.5mm but I ended up buying a Type A 3.5mm to 5 pin din cable for that, everything else I have so far is 5 pin din thankfully...bender wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 7:19 am

Most do, but my custom cables are way tidier looking. Nobody wants extra bulges.
