Help me arrange my pedalboard

I've never been good at puzzling out how to set up a more complex pedalboard. Hoping those of you who're good at this sort of thing/have space-shuttle boards can help me get the most out of my pedulz.

Here's what I'm working with:

Image

Into Princeton Reverb and Roland JC-22.

Things I'd like to achieve:
  • BD-2 goes into reverb goes into both amps (i.e., left to one amp, right to the other)
  • BD-2 captured by the Silencer. I may add a fuzz or a different flavour of OD at some point
  • Compressor, DOD, and delay in a separate loop I can switch to for clean stuff.
Is this at all possible to achieve? How would I go about connecting everything? If I can do so with just one of the switchers (either the LS-2 or A/B/Y), that would be ideal, but I have both available if necessary.

Thanks!

Guitar -> Polytune -> LS-2 -> Oceans 12 -> AMP 1 / AMP 2

LS-2 Loop A -> COMP -> DOD -> Delay
LS-2 Loop B -> BD-2 -> Silencer

Or maybe Silencer after the LS-2, worth playing around with :-)

I think this is the best way:

Have the OBNE set to A/B mode and the LS-2 set to whichever mode sums the signals into the output. . If your Oceans sounds ok with two inputs being connected but only one receiving signal you wouldn't even need the LS-2 and could just go into left/right inputs of the Oceans.

Hope you don't mind tap dancing.

Not sure why you would do that if you can use the LS-2 to switch between either loop as per my example.... and if you go into both inputs of the oceans with different signals where one is off you'll only be able to have one amp running at once ;-)

I was curious why an ABY switch and the LS2 so I started reading up on the LS2.

Now I have a headache.

JB has it. Use the LS2 to make a clean loop and a dirty loop. Then use the reverb to stereo-ize and off to the amps. Very cool.

Didn't know the LS6 had the functionality for that.

Also a lot of "stereo" reverb pedals actually sum the dry signals to mono and then add a wet stereo reverb signal. Not really true stereo. Not sure if the EHX does that.

It’s actually a cool pedal with a bunch of different routing options but the switching between loop A and loop B setting would be perfect here :-)

Cheers – not all that difficult to get my head around after all. Just need some longer cables so I can make the loops.

One thing: does this give me reverb going into BD-2? I'm thinking not.

Ahhhh so in your requirements above you wanted BD-2 into reverb, is that not the case?

Ah yep, sorry, I meant the other way around. Reverb into BD-2 ideally.

So it would be going into only one amp though as it would have to be on one of the oceans outputs unless you didn't want to do stereo, or had another stereo pedal you could put after the BD-2?

Yeah, ideally it'd be reverb into BD-2 to both amps.
