Quick run thru reviews I like the look of the pigtronix infinity
Worth the price tag ?

I have one of these:

https://www.musicworks.co.nz/jim-dunlop ... al-epmm303

You can spend $100 on a used Ditto and have 90% of the bases covered, just if you need longer looping time, speed and reverse options. There are aspects like bit rate that get cited on data sheets but I'm yet to honestly hear a great amount of difference for just jamming some ideas in the guitar room.

NO it doesn't save to different banks which I think is what you mean- you record what you record, then wipe it when you're done...at least as far as I know, but I just use it to work out vocal melodies and lead noodling basically. The MXR does have 6 minutes recording time though.

So that’s where the pigtronix has it for me I think, being able to do a song with a chorus / bridge section

Infinity or the Boss RC500 mate, I had the 500, was wicked, only bought it at the time because I couldn’t readily get the infinity.

The boss holds wicked clarity with multiple overdubs, haven’t heard the infinity in person so can’t say.

Ditto is shit from beginning to end…

I also bought the RC500 before the price hikes, paid $449 brand new from the RS, they’re crazy expensive now…

As an Ed Sheeran fan I thought you'd be rushing to get one of the new Head Rush Sheeran loopers!

I’m seriously tempted to get the Looper X, amazing functionality.

The Boss RC-500 is excellent though. I’ve been using that for quite a while. Didn’t like the Pigtronix, not as user friendly as the Boss.
