Effect Pedal switch types

Well its probably a bit of a pedantic thing - but I certainly prefer the round switches (like on my Jackhammer) - I like the tactile response. The big boss style push section is good though if you aren't wearing shoes I find.

It's never really bothered me. I have both, with 2 Boss pedals, and a Rat 2, with the round metal thing. Both are fine, as long as it turns on and off. :P

I just like the look of the round style - they look cool and I find it easier to more precisely press the round style (so I keep more in the rhythm of a song when switching between clean and dist)

The round style ones. The DPDT style switches.

Hmmm. DPDT. Last time I saw Star Wars, I realised how much ATATs looked like cows. Like, really like cows. (Except with lasers on their heads)

They don't look that much like cows.

They have no udders. Or blotches.

Not all cows have udders or blotches. You're obviously not an expert on mammals of the bovine type. Trust me, they look like cows.

A cow without udders is a bull.

And the AT/AT's don't have horns.

A you can have cows with out udders (ordinary, female cows, just without udders), just like you can have cows without horns.
And you're just being stupid.

o yea and back to the actual topic, i find the boss type ones betta, for they are easier to push barefoot, BUT, boss type ones are not true bypass from my experience, on my awesome cry baby it has a DPDT switch, under the foot swingy thing that u push down hard to turn it on, every1 should kno wot im talking about, and if u have no battery in the pedel but the DPDT is switched so the effect is off, the original signal still goes thru, with my ibanez and boss however, no battery/power, no signal at all, more proof that, dunlop/mxr make betta pedels lol maybe dunlop make betta wahs, but i'd perfer a boss metal zone over a mxr distortion plus anyday.

Also, AT/AT's don't have tails.

And cows have mouths, and AT/AT's don't.

(oh, and incase you can't tell - the ATAT's are on the left and the cows on the right  )
