Did you try lowering or raising the pickup?

I have a Tonerider Generator and the last thing I'd describe it as would be muddy

Not the height screws - the 6 pole piece screws.
Wind them in a little.

The new Entwistle neck pickup arrived last night, ended up getting it for a song (long story) the retailer was great to deal with, gotta go there on Saturday to get more pedal cables but thats another story.

This thing looks real nice, heavy as, wax potted, prolly gonna install it Saturday arvo.

Never got around to installing the pickup, TBH I did lower the top three pole screws more and was so busy moving pedalboard around for new pedal and jamming with it I couldnt be bothered

'sound for the price' - so even though cheap pickup, it sounds a bit more expensive? ;)

Yes, and i like your point BG, I paid $40 new for this, I paid $75 for a Tonerider and the Entwistle kills it. Is it a $200 pickup, no but good enough to pass in a crowd with change for four more of the same.

I could've bought one dimarzio or a pair of the hv58s.

I don't think the paf 36th would make me any happier, especially for double the money.

Sweet :) I don't like those toneriders either. Might have to try an entwistle as I have tin ears anyway :D

Only have Entwistle P90 experience.
Significant improvement over a stock Asian PRS P90 and at $50, a satisfying purchase.... Until it stood on the railway tracks and the $200 Lollar Express roared through; it never stood a chance.

Anybody want an Entwistle P90?
