Put Slash pickups in my PRS, very happy - at last !!! Also put new pots (and caps) in as one of the originals volume controls was playing up a bit.

Slash Pickups in PRS
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

How do I change the look? For some reason I've defaulted to the blue/white look out of the standard black I usually have.

There was an issue with the server a little while back.brown wrote:How do I change the look? For some reason I've defaulted to the blue/white look out of the standard black I usually have.
The black theme was removed. Not sure if it's back yet.

Nice! I dropped a set into my Gibson LP Classic about a year ago. Sounds awesome couldn't be happier, found the stock pups to be really muddy.
Loving it so far

Re: Slash Pickups in PRS
I have the Slash pickups in my Les Paul. They sound great. They are a dark sounding pickup, so match your amp carefully. Marshall is good, Mesa is not so good.
An alternative is the Pearly Gates, which has a similar tone. I find it works even a little better than the Slash pickups. Again, through a Marshall is best, but sounds ok through a Mesa.
