With some of these high end pups i think people may be hearing what they expect to hear based on the descriptions, marketing, and forum trends. A confirmation bias sort of thing. Followers of fashion factor too. The in vogue pickups and pedals etc get positive comments on forums, but as soon as the influential people's tastes change, the products all of a sudden do not sound as good; at least according to the comments of the influenced. Not talking about this place of course
