I'd cut the wires but then I'd install the same kind of connectors EMG uses for their pickups. That way, if you ever want to put it back to stock, it will take just a few minutes.

Did think of that actually. :thumbup: Thought I'd see what was available at Jaycar. It'd also be cleaner than just trying to solder the ends of cables together.

Yeah, and paint it blue while you are it, with a brush ;-)

If you're using high gloss paint, a roller might be better.
