Buying a Humbucker this week, any recommendations/cool stuff for sale?
I need a new bridge hum for my knock off 335. The pickup that is in it is super hot and aggressive and feeds back in an ugly way.
What I want is something that is hotter and darker than my Rickenbacker, but not hugely hotter or darker. And it would be cool to have a pickup that has somewhat of a pushed/forward midrange.
From my research, it sounds like a PAF will do the job. I was thinking of getting an Entwhistle from Jansen as I get pretty sweet pricing from them but always keen to hear opinions for alternatives or secondhand stuff for sale

Second on the entwistle, but if you’re not careful the A2 can be quite shrill.

Isn't the burst bucker supposed to sound airy and bright for a hum bucker?

That’s F spaced anyway, that won’t be great on a 335... YouTube clips of the burstbucker sound pretty killer so i’m stoked to try it. Hopefully picking up some new pots too
