Spin-a-Split wiring help!

Post by lucky13sp »

Ok guys, i'm wiring up a strat in the following config:

H-S-S [bridge 'bucker is a rails, single sized HB]

-volume
-tone [neck & bridge]
-spin a split

-SPDT 'on-on' switch [for adding the bridge pickup to any other pickup combo]

here's the spin a split diagram:

and here's the bridge switch diagram:

and finally my question! do i need to connect the spin a split pot [which is controlling the amount of 'split' on the rails HB] to the switch? or can i just wire up the 2 wires from the rails pup that 'split' it to the spin a split pot?

No need to connect anything from the pot to the switch. The hot wire goes to the switch, the ground wire goes to the back of the pot and the red/white tap goes to the spin-a-split pot.
