Okay, so I bought the instructions from here http://www.monteallums.com/Product_links.html only to find that the components needed weren't the easiest to come by. So I ended up ordering the full kit which only cost US$20. The parts arrived in 3 freakin working days! Awesome! Had someone else perform the mod for me, as I dread to think what would have become of my GE-7 if I had done it.

The results? All the hiss has gone and only a very quiet hum is present when run in front of my amp with gain cranked and boost engaged. Well worth doing if you know the agony of trying to run an eq in front of a high gain amp! Judging by this result, I would say his other pedal mods would be well worth checking out.
