When the time comes to upgrade amps though, I'm definitely set on getting something a bit smaller. As someone mentioned, the HRD is really loud, much louder than I need it to be. Can't get close to natural breakup without having neighbors knocking on the door. I'm still thinking a DR Z Mazz 18... thought that would suck up most of your budget.

The JCM800 model on the HD sucks balls. Even POD Farm sounds better. I thought this was an accepted fact.

Bogners are ok, but only if they come with heated seats.

That is a good point. I guess all my ire is directed at the HD's JCM model rather than the unit's inability to do that tone. Go on and prove me wrong JB, you might save me a fortune on gear.jeremyb wrote:No ones suggesting I have to use that model tho are they? Maybe what I'm really after is a JCM800 pushed with a Boss SD-1 and featuring a Boss Super Chorus...

I also read a rumour that Mutt Lange got Angus to play through one on the Back In Black album?

A definite possibility.jeremyb wrote:AC15?Rhettsauce wrote:...I should say I have a Hot Rod Deluxe (the 2nd version).

If so, why does the fact that no one here can stay on track surprise you?Alberto wrote:Long time listener, first time caller (not really, but you get the idea).
