I'm a 10 fan in general. They have a little less low end, which helps your sound to fit into a band without taking over the low end. Of course it highly depends on the style of music - if you're playing Rage and G&R and RAWK then there is no subsitute for 12 inch Celestions in a closed back cabinet.

For me in a very big band with lots going on, the slightly honker open back 10 just works better.

10” just gives a tighter and nicer sounding tone to me, big fan!!
