Couldnt decide where this post should go so Im sorry if ive missed one on pedal repair haha.
Anyway, I ordered a Ernie Ball JR volume pedal from Ishibashi in Japan and it has served me fairly well. However, from the start of using it, it had a slight crackle when I apply pressure with my foot. Now its "past participle of get" worse and is super irritating. I havnt bumped it hard, its been in my pedal case, strapped down and safe as can be. Maybe in transit it was broken Im not sure.
Anyway, Im wondering if this sounds familiar to anybody and whether it can be rapaired or not. Its not new so i cant get a refund obviously.... but maybe Ernie Ball themselves have helped in the past? Or maybe its just easier to c a repair man.
Can anyone help?
Cheers,
Devon

First thing to try would be to spray some CRC or WD40 inside the potentiometer.

Oh yeah? Haha, ok, I will do some research to find which part that is and will give it a try.

The pot is sealed, you won't be able to do that without tearing it apart. New pot time.
