I've got a Strymon Timeline that is being particularly under-utilised. At present I use it for its looping capabilities, for a subtle delay to go behind my general crunch rhythm sound and a less subtle delay to go behind my lead sound, and for the midi capabilities. But that is barely scratching the surface of what it can do, I know.
I'd really appreciate some comments on good uses of delay. I know for example that I should set up an Edge dotted-1/8th notes sound. I also probably could set up a good slapback echo sound. But what would you consider to be the key half-dozen delay settings?
Thanks in advance
K

The 'dual delay' with modulation added will get you into the patterned, Edge stuff. There are sites around that give you specific settings right down to the exact milliseconds for each delay and what songs used on.

I am working on getting a Timeline myself. The presets feature alone will be a godsend for live use
