Best (cliche) modulation examples

Post by Kiwiaxe »

Ok I've got this amazing Mobius and I seriously need to now program some useful - albeit cliche - modulation tones!

What's your thoughts? So far I have:

- EVH flanger (eg: Unchained)
- 80's chorus for shimmering clean sounds (think Def Leppard's Hysteria album)

Bob Marley - Stir it up
The solo (thing) has a thick phaser thing happening. Slow, but a phaser all the same.

Link Wray's Rumble is a nice early example.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
